Building the Venture Engine

The Context

Mobilize Financial Services (MFS), a subsidiary of Groupe Renault, had built a strong position in the financial sector through innovative and tailored solutions. Their ability to serve the automotive ecosystem was well-established.

The Friction

The innovation capability was concentrated in a small team. Employee ideas—potentially the most valuable source of competitive advantage—had no structured path to development. Creative potential was trapped in day jobs with no mechanism for surfacing or supporting it.

The Approach

We designed a complete intrapreneurship infrastructure—not just a one-time program, but a repeatable engine for converting employee ideas into business impact.

The Protocol

The 6-Phase Venture Pipeline: (1) Frame corporate challenges, (2) Launch call for ideas and team registration, (3) Support idea structuring, (4) Present to qualified jury, (5) Select most promising concepts, (6) Six months of intensive coaching using Design Thinking and Lean Startup methods.

The Immediate Impact

Three new concepts were developed and implemented within the company. Employee engagement and motivation increased significantly as people saw their ideas taken seriously.

The Legacy

The venture pipeline is now a permanent fixture of MFS's innovation infrastructure. Employee-driven innovation has become a sustainable source of competitive advantage, and internal capabilities for structured innovation have been built.

"Forward Partners helped us unlock the entrepreneurial potential within our organization while respecting the unique constraints of the financial sector."
